
It is so quick and easy for instant get together's
and pot luck dinners. Serves 8.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 can Cherry Pie Filling
- ½ Box Yellow Cake Mix
- ½ cup Chopped Pecans
- 1 Stick Margarine
PREPARATION:
- Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees. Pour the cherry pie filling into
a baking dish. Mix dry the cake mix, pecans, and margarine. Work
the ingredients into a crumbly mixture.
- Dump the mixture over the cherries, distributing evenly. Bake
for 30 minutes or so. If the top doesn't brown lightly, you may
wish to turn on the broiler for a minute or two to tint the top
crust. Serve warm.
KITCHEN TIPS:
*You can change it by using chocolate cake mix and strawberry
pie filling instead of cherry, or blueberry with lemon cake mix.
